Turning Ground acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the country on which we practice, learn, and connect, the Wurrundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and recognise and celebrate their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded and commit to ongoing practices of decolonisation and right relationship that honour the leadership and self-determination of Woiwurrung peoples. We pay our respects to elders past and present and thank them for protecting Country since time immemorial.
