10-Week Interpersonal Group Psychotherapy Term

For Queer Men

A therapeutic group for queer men, using an interpersonal approach to reveal, explore, and shift the patterns that shape how we connect — with ourselves, and with other men.

This group is open to all who identify as men, including trans men.

Wednesdays, from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Beginning 16th September until 18th November
Fitzroy North (TBC)

With a possibility of an ongoing group after this first term.

This is for queer men, including trans men who are…

  • tired of masking or pretending, even in spaces that are meant to be safe;

  • longing for closeness with other men, while some part of you braces against it;

  • shaped by shame, rejection or self-protection that started long before you had language for it;

  • caught in unhealthy patterns of connection that feel more like performance than intimacy;

  • navigating questions of identity, masculinity or belonging that still feel unsettled;

  • curious about how your history with men — fathers, brothers, mentors, lovers, friends — shows up in how you relate now;

  • seeking the support of others who understand, without having to explain yourself first.

“The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.”
- Irvin D. Yalom
